While most of us celebrate birthdays and holidays, Katie Reilly prides herself in celebrating each moment as she transforms ordinary occurrences into milestones with her sensitivity and humor. As founder and President of Slow...please, Inc., she has received local, state and national awards in her relentless endeavor to portray speeding and our fast pace as quality-of-life issues. She captivates radio and television audiences across the country as the "Slow Lady." Speaking to us in almost a whisper, she addresses the deepest part of our souls, asking us to slow down and do less - not rush to do more.

Born and raised in a family of six daughters in Needham, Massachusetts, she now resides in Marblehead, Massachusetts with her husband and her three inspirations, Bill, Colleen and Michael. She continues to persevere as an advocate for women's rights, public education and public safety. Katie is now finishing her second book entitled "Around the World, Slow...please!"
